Making the drive a FAT drive will destroy any data already on the drive, Then if the drive is partitioned for FAT16 and formatted FAT16 then the contents will be seen. No go with a SATA DVD drive.

To gain access to the rest of the latest booted CD (or ISO9660 filesystem) you can use ELTORITO.SYS , no matter which (type of) device you booted your disk from. Any idea where I can find a SYS file for mounting the DVD drive in DOS for my Intel mobo? I tried DOSBOX but it doesn't appear to support SATA.
